A Call For More Bow Tie Swap Clubs!

An Idea Whose Time Has Come...And Gone...And Come Again:  The Hartford Bow Tie Swap Club Celebrated their 17th (annual?) meeting recently in Connecticut.

As part of the event, members bring the ties they are tired of and swap them for those others have contributed to the swap. One of the first turned-in ties that was grabbed was one donated by former Hartford Arts Council head and Bow Tie Swap Club founder Ken Kahn, who happened to be in town. [emphasis added]

Sounds like something right out of F Scott Fitzgerald, doesn't it?  This is a wonderful tradition that needs to be spread far and wide across this great land of ours, particularly Middle Tennessee!  I guess I'll have to start my own club and be its sole charter member...
